Lately Life // Baby Shower + Festival

Hey people.

So I’m at that point in my pregnancy where I keep recalculating my estimated due date to see if I can shave off a couple of days— but it’s not working. I didn’t realize how impatient I really am! I cannot wait to meet this child.

Anyways.

My awesome sisters threw me a baby shower last Thursday, and it was splendid.

The tables were decorated with eucalyptus and wild flowers,

the menu was diet approved,

and the guests were spot on concerning gifts.

I am now abundantly prepared for this child. Which makes waiting, that much harder!

As always, there were very creative games—

And other beautiful babies.

It’s a special blessing to have such thoughtful family.

They took the time to really design the party to fit a style I legitimately love.

So now, I can officially say I am ready to pop—

Although, I technically have 10 days until my due date.

So Saturday, I took my momma and siblings to the Strawberry Festival to try and walk this kid out.

It obviously didn’t work how I’d planned. Believe it or not, I think this child is more stubborn than I am!

The weather was superb.

The kiddos, well behaved.

And I love time with my momma. Even if she is a bit lacking in pity for the preggo.

***A neat tip for you!

Ever since I was a little girl, sausage on a stick was my favorite fair food. So momma had the grand idea to pack some to bring from home. Wrapped up in foil, on little wooden skewers, we’d have our cheaper version of this fun food! So that’s exactly what we did.
